This is a position as Vice President Medical Affairs with regional oversight over 4 hospitals, each of which is located in fast developing communities. This is an opportunity for a high impact physician with transformational leadership skills. As the regional Vice President Medical Affairs you will need to recognize and understand the unique operational differences between each hospital and each hospital staff. A key aspect of your work with the administrative team will be to stabilize the Eco-system across the network. The regional Vice President Medical Affairs will work with a Director Medical Affairs at each hospital who carry the responsibility of handling day to day business activities of their individual facility. Your Role as Vice President Medical AffairsThis a regional role. The responsibilities of the Vice President Medical Affairs include Physician Engagement, Associate Engagement and Patient Engagement with a highly collaborative and dynamic team within these four hospitals. An element to your success will be to develop in-depth relationships and inspiring your medical staff, the CEO, senior leadership, clinical leadership, staff, patients and their families. You will also have the opportunity to participate across the health system network.
Your Vice President Medical Affairs Regional HospitalsThe first of your four hospitals is five years old and includes an Accredited Chest Pain Clinic, a Certified Primary Stroke Center, a Silver Performance Achievement Award in Cardiac Care (and Cardiac Care includes an Open Heart Program), Level IV Trauma, Level II NICU and family friendly private rooms. The second hospital was named in the top 10% in the nation for patient safety. Their outpatient surgery department achieved a perfect score of 100% on their latest patient satisfaction survey. They were also recognized by the state with a Quality Achievement Award. Hospital three has also been recognized for awards and achievements including quality improvement and patient safety. The emergency department has estimated annual visits of 11,000, inpatient and outpatient surgery and the laboratory processes over a million tests annually. The fourth hospital has a Center of Excellence for Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine includes Aquatics Therapy, Physical, Occupational, Hand and Speech Therapy. In addition, 9 LDRPs, 8 Antepartum and Postpartum rooms and a Level II NICU. This is a tranquil, peaceful and state of the art facility with a healing touch.
